Services for Seniors
- Improve support and funding, through increased financial payments, for carers on the Mid-North Coast by lobbying the Commonwealth to recognise the value of supporting people who care for community members in their own homes. Lobby for greater support for people who are providing long term respite care to family members;
- Support Department of Fair Trade programs that help retirees manage and protect their long term financial security;
- Lobby the state government to provide the same means-tested concessions to self-funded retirees as currently apply to pensioners;
- Lobby for water rebates for pensioners living in residential parks and strata developments.
